Clinical Leader Forum Success
Erie, PA - The inaugural Clinical Leader Forum concluded in May with successful results. The conference, produced by Life Science Leader and ClinicalLeader.com, was designed to gather executives at pharma and biotech sponsor companies who rely on contract research organizations to conduct their clinical trials.
Over 150 Industry thought leaders participated in the conference where the highly engaged participants drove to drive conversation between attendees and panelists. Plans are underway to expand Clinical Leader Forum into additional markets in 2018.
“Thank you for organizing one of the best pharma/biotech clinical research conferences I have ever participated in,” said John Hall, Clinical Leader Forum panelist and President of Shore Research & Development, LLC.
Ed Miseta, Clinical Leader Forum event chair and chief editor of ClinicalLeader.com, said, “As attendees came up to me expressing their excitement and satisfaction over this event, I was quick to point out the amazing job performed by our speakers and moderators. It was their expertise on the topic areas presented here, and their willingness to share that knowledge with our audience, that created these interesting and informative sessions. I would also like to thank our attendees and exhibitors for their involvement with the Forum. One aspect of the event that folks seemed to be the most excited about was the networking opportunities. Everyone in attendance played a role in making those interactions valuable and productive, and I was glad to hear from so many people about the enjoyment they got from these interactions."
Miseta continued, “I and the entire Clinical Leader Forum team will now turn our attention towards next year’s event. Clinical outsourcing is never an easy task to master. Clinical operations executives have to be constantly on top of challenges impacting their clinical trials, such as CRO selection, oversight and audits, site monitoring, cost, quality, timeliness, patient recruitment and retention, study start-ups, and more. These are complicated issues and often there is no right or wrong way of doing things. We hope to continue to bring together the best and brightest minds in the clinical community to help our attendees develop best practices that will allow them conduct better clinical trials.”
