Daniel Beard, a computational biologist, refers to this as the "Virtual Physiological Rat" project. Apparently, virtual rats are being developed from data gathered from live rat experiments, offering researchers insight into the mix of genetic and environmental risk factors of cardiovascular disease.
Which ePRO Solution Is Right For Your Study?
Sponsors considering the use of electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO) for their clinical trials can choose from a wide variety of diverse solutions. Today's ePRO options and technologies can successfully overcome the well-documented problems associated with the compliance and accuracy of at-home paper diaries.
Foreign Clinical Trial Data
Given the high cost of moving a promising drug candidate through years of clinical trials, it's no wonder that more and more drug manufacturers have begun conducting at least some of their clinical trials in foreign countries. With lower costs and shorter recruiting times, the use of foreign sites is appealing to all drug developers.
The most important characteristic of an eDiary is ease of use for patients. CRF Health offers several eDiary device options to ensure each study team can choose a device that best fits the needs of the study.
