MRN was working with a medicine now approved for adults to treat nerve damage caused by hereditary transthyretin (hATTR) amyloidosis, a neurodegenerative disease in which abnormal proteins build up in tissues around the body, including around the nerves.

While MRN healthcare experts communicated the essential clinical requirements for successful infusion, the drug developer's Business Account Executives provided insights into the treatment. Through close, collaborative, and secure coordination within their designated roles, the duo was able to cultivate a conducive learning environment for healthcare professionals.

This collaboration remained effective even as some training had to transition online due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. These restrictions varied across states, permitting certain in-person training sessions post-April 2020. However, a significant portion of the training for the remainder of the year was conducted via Zoom.

From August 2018 to December 2021, MRN healthcare professionals took decisive action, delivering a total of 236 robust training sessions. Out of these, over 200 sessions were conducted in person across 35 mainland states and in the US Virgin Isles. Additionally, 69 sessions were successfully executed online. Read the full case study to learn how MRN’s proactive approach enabled them to equip over 2,000 healthcare professionals with valuable training.
