Direct-To-Patient Supply: Industry Perception And Future Trends

Direct-to-patient (broadly referred to as DTP) distribution of clinical supplies can reduce or even eliminate the need for patients to travel to clinical trial sites, addressing a well-known barrier related to the successful recruitment and retention of study subjects. To better understand sponsors’ perspectives on DTP and interest in using it in their studies, 234 individuals involved in clinical supply and operations were surveyed.

• Industry perception and understanding of DTP
• How sponsors execute DTP studies
