SCDM Announces 2013 Data Driven Innovation Awards Finalists

Nine finalists are competing in three different categories for the Society for Clinical Data Management’s 2013 Data Driven Innovation Awards.

The finalists have been selected for the Society for Clinical Data Management’s Data Driven Innovation Award Program.

The awards, a highlight of the SCDM Annual Conference, honor the year’s best advancement in clinical data management, recognize important vendor/sponsor relationships and build awareness of new technology in the clinical data management field. For the Sixth Data Driven Innovation Awards (DDIA), companies will be competing in three categories: Innovative Technology Solutions, Vendor-Sponsor Collaboration and CDM Process.

“The addition of two new categories to the competition will provide a wider range of opportunities for everyone to participate and receive recognition,” said Emma Banks, Annual Conference co-chair “there are many outstanding entrants in this year’s competition, with twenty four applications across the three categories.”

“Based on previous years’ results, our finalists have a high standard to meet. Innovations in technology, process and collaboration are all necessary to succeed in the business of clinical trials.”

A winner will be announced at an awards reception on Wednesday, September 11th, during the SCDM 2013 Annual Conference which will be held in Chicago, IL from September 10th – 13th.

For its 19th edition, the SCDM Annual Conference program includes 17 sessions, 3 post-conference workshops, case studies on key industry themes and their implications for CDM professionals, thus confirming it as the world's largest education event for clinical data managers and related professionals.
