Dyana Boutwell

Dyana joined Halloran Consulting Group in 2013. She focuses on clinical and medical affairs business operations, project management, evidence-based strategic and financial planning, process development, and functional gap analyses. Dyana has over 13 years of experience in research and development, with broad experience that spans across various aspects of development operations management and planning. Prior to joining Halloran, Dyana was the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where she worked closely with senior leadership, franchise and program leads on development and continuous improvement of clinical planning processes and operational project management practices. She also led the analytics and financial forecasting functions, overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of portfolio, program, functional and study-level metrics as well as program/study budgeting, scenario planning, and financial modeling. Dyana also has experience managing process optimization projects through automation and technology implementation and has successfully integrated new roles, procedures, and systems into cross-functional business operations. Prior to her experience in clinical research, Dyana was a bench scientist in both an R&D and quality control/GMP laboratory. Dyana earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Newberry College in Newberry, South Carolina.
