ACRP, Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI) Partner To Raise CRC Professionalism In Singapore

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI) recently announce a new partnership to raise clinical research coordinator (CRC) professionalism in Singapore.

Under the partnership, SCRI will leverage components of ACRP's Clinical Research Coordinator Boot Camp program to train CRCs employed within the local public healthcare system. Those components will form part of the SCRI Academy Clinical Research Coordinator Level 1 training program.

ACRP's CRC Boot Camp is an intensive 5-day training program that ensures CRCs have a demonstrated ability to immediately and successfully manage tasks related to informed consent, IRB submissions, study visits, essential documents, safety report, monitoring visits, and inspections.

An immersive, experiential training program, ACRP's CRC Boot Camp puts CRCs through a mix of didactic learning and practical simulations of real-life scenarios to aid learning retention and immediately develop the competencies required of high-quality, early-stage CRCs.

ACRP's CRC Boot Camp blends 8 hours of online training with 40 hours of in-person training and exercises to ensure CRCs can immediately and effectively contribute to site operations. Upon successful program completion, sites and CRCs will be equipped with documented competence verified by ACRP, a credible, independent non-profit organization with more than 40 years of experience in the clinical research enterprise.
