Avoca's CEO Patty Leuchten Named Finalist For IIR's Woman Of The Year Award

Congratulations to Avoca's President and CEO, Patricia Leuchten, for being named one of the Finalists for IIR's Woman of the Year Award.
The Woman of the Year is Someone Who:
• Has achieved the highest level of professional excellence within the clinical trials industry
• Contributed time and energy to initiatives and/or programs that are innovative to the industry
• Actively encourages others, particularly women, in stepping up to a more senior role in the pharmaceutical industry

Patty Leuchten started The Avoca Group in 1999 with a mission to bring sponsors and CROs into greater alignment and to help companies foster positive working relationships. Avoca’s research and work have uncovered issues and areas for improvement in the way sponsors and CROs work together. Under Patty’s leadership, The Avoca Group has been instrumental in identifying industry solutions that impact timeliness, cost effectiveness and quality of outsourced clinical trials.
Patty established the Avoca Quality Consortium to help bring sponsors and CROs into greater alignment and to improve proactive approaches to quality management of outsourced trials. The mission is to break down silos in the industry and achieving greater progress through collaboration.
The Winner for the Woman of the Year Award will be announced at the 3rd Annual Women's Clinical Leadership Forum, on Monday, March 31st as a part of the Partnerships in Clinical Trials conference in Las Vegas, NV.
