Essity Uses eConsent To Optimize Enrollment
Experts estimate that between a quarter and a third of adults in the United States have urinary incontinence in some form. To mitigate this issue, global hygiene and health company Essity developed a bladder sensor using ultrasound to support the prevention of urinary incontinence by monitoring the urinary bladder. After completing initial feasibility studies, the company realized it would need to conduct a large-scale study using its device. But first, Essity would need to recruit a significant number of participants who fit the inclusion criteria. In addition, Essity also needed to ensure that the study would have low in-person patient visits while promoting a positive and convenient user experience for all involved.
Access the case study below to see how Essity was able to deploy virtual methods through a strategic partnership to recruit and retain participants and learn more about the technology used to streamline the process of collecting consent and analyzing patient data.
