This case study illustrates Chiltern’s capability, experience and expertise to provide Functional Service Provider (FSP) solutions to meet the growing resourcing needs of our client.

• Our client traditionally outsourced their studies to various Contract Research Organizations (CROs). This process allowed their study teams to decide on which CRO to work with for each study.
• The decision was made in 2009 to move to the FSP model in both the US and Europe.
• Chiltern was chosen as one of the two providers across Europe with the primary focus on providing Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) across Western Europe.
• The relationship has since grown and developed to more than 50 staff working across 12 countries in various clinical operations job functions such as Clinical Trial Administrators, CRAs, Lead CRAs, trainer and embedded line management.
