In the life sciences industry, there is need for collaboration and a healthy relationship between sites, sponsors, CROs, and technology providers in order to deliver for patients. The Cognizant Shared Investigator Platform (SIP) is a collaborative solution for clinical trial planning and execution, aimed at improving efficiency and collaboration between sites, sponsors, and other stakeholders. However, sites faced challenges in adopting SIP, including a lack of awareness, guidance, and training, as well as varying processes and requirements. To address these challenges, Cognizant established a Site Advocacy Group (SAG) and a Global Medical Affairs Team (GMAT) to provide support and training to sites. Cognizant has also established various engagement channels, such as site advocacy groups and strategic partnerships, to ensure the needs and issues of sites are heard.

Additionally, Cognizant has made significant outreach to sites and implemented changes based on their feedback, such as simplifying the registration process and improving system performance. Learn more about improvements made to the SIP platform, which have allowed for quick access to study documents and bulk actions for streamlined document management and enhanced user experience, by accessing the full article below.
