How A Remote ePRO Solution Helped Reduce Patient Burden

The Challenge

An international pharmaceutical company conducting a four-study Neurology global program (two Phase II studies and two Phase III studies) faced slowing or lost enrollment due to patient apprehension around visiting research sites to complete Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs). To prevent further risk to the program and the 2,000+ patients enrolled at over 250 global sites, the Sponsor required a solution that would shift 10 different on-site assessments to electronic PROs (ePRO), effectively enabling patients to complete assessments from their home.
