How Technology And Relationships Can Improve Feasibility

Across the industry, conducting feasibility is beset with numerous challenges. However, the truth of the matter remains that conducting feasibility is an essential and necessary step to starting up a clinical trial. The good news is that the whole approach has the ability to change for the better by initiating and adopting some enhancements such as:
- Standardizing a coordinated approach to the collection of data for program-level feasibility
- Using technology to perform site feasibility and to manage and analyse the results.
Underpinning this, all aspects of feasibility can be enhanced by ensuring we build and maintain durable site relationships. This is key to making the entire process as efficient and as painless as possible; and ultimately, move clinical trials seamlessly and quickly from feasibility to activation.
When thinking about ‘feasibility’, it’s clear that this covers more than one process. For example, project or program-level feasibility is used to identify protocol considerations, and to select the most appropriate countries for the study. Site feasibility is used to support the selection of the participating sites.
