Drug development would lack direction and evaluation without the help of safe and well-designed clinical trials. For more than a decade, pharmaceutical and biotechnology professionals have shared their service provider experiences and perspectives throughout clinical trial phases I, II, and III.

In a new industry survey—compiled in the annual Industry Standard Research CRO Benchmarking reports—professionals were asked to explore the myriad facets of clinical studies and their varied processes. The collection of information is expected to provide pertinent information to organizations that rely on clinical research outcomes as it relates to preference, familiarity, awareness, and use of CROs. Respondents were also asked to rate the CROs they used in the past 18 months on overall satisfaction, likelihood to use again, and likelihood to recommend.
