InSite One Announces Advanced Productivity Tools With InDex v6.1 Release Improving Clinical Workflow
InSite One, Inc. announced recently the release for general Availability of the newest InDex software, v6.1, that improves clinical workflow within the enterprise archive by providing tools for sharing patient data including the incorporation of patient identity matching and reconciliation delivering a patient-centric archive. The new features adhere to IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) standards framework and protocols and are in response to InSite One's client's needs and the emerging requirements for managing data in today's challenging healthcare IT market.
Expanding the ability to access critical imaging data, InDex 6.1 provides XDS-I and WADO (Web Access to DICOM Objects) allowing any IHE compliant document consumer to view data within the InDex archive, further enhancing the integration opportunities with EMRs and PHRs. As an enterprise document source archive, InDex has become a critical foundation for InSite One clients who are leveraging storage of DICOM and non-DICOM data as a conduit for exchange between applications. InDex 6.1 now offers an enhanced High Availability configuration that can address larger enterprise volumes and processing capacity for not only storing data but further enhancing workflow across the department, among departments and with referring physicians using HL7 messaging feeds and new DICOM routing tools.
"For over a decade, InSite One continuously provides new feature sets in the premiere InDex service that are developed for the anticipated needs of healthcare enterprise IT infrastructures, allowing for efficiencies in clinical workflow," comments Paul Dandrow, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of InSite One. "These innovative tools allow for improved functionality that will contribute to provider's productivity and ultimately the timely diagnosis for their patients", concludes Mr. Dandrow.
