At PCI, our mission is to act as a vital bridge between innovative therapies and the patients who depend on them. As a fully integrated Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), we leverage our combined expertise in manufacturing, packaging, and supply chain management to offer seamless solutions that ultimately improve patient lives.

However, the increasing complexity of personalized therapies, often characterized by lower patient volumes per SKU and high value, creates challenges in traditional inventory management. Recognizing this, PCI has embraced the principles of Late Stage Customization (LSC), utilizing cutting-edge technologies to streamline processes, optimize costs and timelines, and minimize risk.

LSC, often referred to as digital printing, allows for the customization of packaging materials directly at the manufacturing stage or just prior to shipment. This innovative approach mitigates supply chain risks associated with pre-printed materials and enables efficient production of smaller, unique batches. By printing directly on blank stock, LSC eliminates the need for pre-printed artwork, further reducing complexity and waste.

Learn more about the benefits of this approach, including accelerated time to market, improved inventory management, and reduced waste of valuable therapeutic products. Ultimately, LSC contributes to a leaner, more responsive supply chain, ensuring life-changing therapies reach patients faster and more efficiently.
