MACS® Cell Storage Solution
Sometimes, primary cells cannot be used immediately for analysis, or they need to be shipped to different locations to be analyzed. If the cells are to be used within a few days, it is essential to store them in a supporting medium to ensure that cell viability and composition of the cell suspensions are preserved, as well as cell functionality is maintained.
The MACS Cell Storage Solution is a ready-to-use, animal component-free, and serum-free media formulation specifically developed for the hypothermic storage (2-8°C) of fresh primary single-cell suspensions. Ideally suited for the short-term storage or shipping of primary cells. It has been validated on a variety of primary cell suspensions, such as human lysed blood, peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), isolated human T cells, and monocytes.
