Most Important Attributes For EDC Provider Selection: Development vs. Post-Marketing

ISR recently surveyed 148 respondents on their experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems, which have become essential tools to appropriately capture, review, and present clinical trial data. For development stage trials, Robustness of features was considered the primary attribute for provider selection by 13% of respondents. Data security was considered one of the 5 most important selection attributes by 45% of respondents – the highest of all attributes. For Phase IV/post marketing trials, Cost of the application was the attribute most often selected as primary by 16% of respondents, and among the top 5 most important by 44%.
