Novo Nordisk Joins Fortune 100 Best Companies To Work For® 2014 For 6th Consecutive Year
Biotech and pharma company Novo Nordisk joins the list of 2014 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® for the sixth consecutive year. The U.S. arm of the Danish company was ranked 72nd in this year’s list for its outstanding workplace culture. Novo Nordisk joins the list along with another top pharma company Genentech (ranked 6th).
GreatRated found Novo Nordisk’s employees highly satisfied with their workplace thanks to European-style benefits and work policies, alongside a sense of pride in helping patients with diabetes. Ninety-seven percent of employees said their contributions to the company’s community involvement and drug research made them feel good. Ninety-three percent felt they make a difference through their work at Novo Nordisk. In the company review, an employee was quoted as saying, "There is a singular focus around diabetes here and more of a focus on the patient as the benefactor of what we do than I've seen at other pharma companies."
A total of 1,094 Novo Nordisk employees were surveyed for the review with a 95% confidence level and ±2.60 margin of error. Employee ratings for Novo Nordisk are as follows:
