The clinical research landscape continues to grow in complexity and competitiveness, with organizations grappling with a multitude of trials and tight deadlines. The clinical trial process is not only costly and time-intensive but also statistically prone to failure, with less than 12% of drugs and therapies advancing from clinical testing to approval. On average, the clinical development phase spans six to seven years, adding further hurdles to the path of progress.

Compounding these challenges is the ongoing struggle of patient recruitment. In their pursuit of crafting effective and robust participant experiences, both research sites and sponsors must thoroughly assess and comprehend the prevailing perceptions within the field.

To shed light on this issue, Advarra conducted a survey encompassing 1,000 randomly selected U.S. residents, seeking to capture their general perceptions and understanding of clinical research.
