Publication Services: Disseminate Clinical and Scientific Information

Source: PRA Health Sciences

PRA Health Sciences’ global Publication Services group provides strategic, operational, and tactical services to help clients communicate and disseminate clinical and scientific information. PRA conducts situational and gap analyses in identified therapeutic areas to support the development, management, and implementation of medical affairs and publication activities. For the duration of each project, we assign dedicated publication experts, including medical writers experienced in scientific messaging and the given therapeutic area as well as publication project managers highly skilled in planning, budgetary, and stakeholder communication.

PRA develops flexible solutions to address the unique needs of R&D and medical affairs departments. Rather than settling for a "one size fits all" approach, we customize our designs and implement innovative strategies that encompass the following models:

  • Deliverable-Based: abstracts, posters, and manuscripts priced at industry-standard rates and provided as requested by the client
  • Resource-Based/T&M: the client has consistent access to assigned writer(s) and/or other team members
  • Hybrid: delivery of a publication team with expertise spanning several functional areas (eg, publication project manager, medical writers, expert clinical reviewers, statistical consultation) and implementation of both deliverable and/or T&M pricing

Furthermore, our teams support life-cycle management for either therapeutic agents or devices from pre-
IND/IDE to post-approval communication activities. We guide clients through challenges posed by international
and managed-care markets, product-line extensions, and publication guidelines. Our comprehensive
support also covers clinical, scientific, biometric, and strategic services.
