Safe-To-Site Initiative

The Safe-to-Site Initiative is designed to ensure patients can participate in clinical trials with confidence, safety, and minimal stress. From the moment a patient begins planning their visit until after its completion, dedicated coordinators are available by phone, email, or text to provide guidance, answer questions, and offer support. Travel is fully prepaid and arranged through Block Clinical’s curated network of suppliers, ensuring seamless logistics and reducing the financial and administrative burdens on patients and caregivers.

A robust Duty-of-Care program operates 24/7/365, automatically alerting patient coordinators if a safety event occurs in the patient’s travel area. Additional safety protocols are in place to minimize risks during travel, giving patients reassurance that every precaution has been taken. Travel Kits are provided, containing essential items such as face masks, hand sanitizer, reusable water bottles, and wipes to promote hygiene and personal safety throughout the journey.

Block Clinical partners with suppliers who demonstrate exceptional corporate responsibility, prioritizing risk reduction and patient well-being. This bespoke network continually evolves, adding new services to meet the changing needs of patients, clinical sites, and trial protocols. By combining proactive safety measures, personalized support, and reliable logistics, the Safe-to-Site Initiative enhances the clinical trial experience while ensuring patients, caregivers, and sites can focus on the trial itself rather than the challenges of participation.
