Sponsors Are Selecting Fewer Clinical Research Sites: Here's How To Be One Of Them

According to CenterWatch Monthly, clinical trial sponsors and CROs are moving away from their traditional approach of working with a large number of trial sites and are instead now concentrating on investing more time and money in fewer, select sites.

This trend presents both opportunities and challenges for sites. It allows chosen sites to work repeatedly and reliably on high-interest trials with sponsors and to perform even better, as sponsors are more likely to provide additional tech support, training, and revenue or grants. But this trend is also a challenge, as sites won’t be able to rely on their investigator’s reputations to remain attractive to potential sponsors.
