Theorem CR Expands Partnership With Medidata Solutions

By Estel Grace Masangkay

Theorem Clinical Research announced that it has obtained accreditation for Medidata Patient Cloud. The accreditation expands its existing partnership with Medidata Solutions.

Medidate Patient Cloud will allow Theorem CR to capture data directly from patients. Its clinical investigators and sponsors will have immediate access to review electronic patient reported outcomes (ePRO) data in one platform. Together with Theorem’s clinical expertise as a contract research organization that optimizes trial conduct, this will lead to operational efficiencies for both investigators and sponsors.

Mark Penniston, Theorem EVP and general manager for clinical analytics, said, “We will be able to transform what can be a lengthy and expensive process into a fast implementation using Medidata’s platform of solutions, which includes capabilities to facilitate direct communication with patients.”

Medidata Patient Cloud offers a number of benefits, including but not limited to:

  • Personalized build-up of electronic patient-reported outcome (ePRO) forms and access to library of reusable forms
  • Faster setup with simple authentication and role-based access on iOS devices
  • Shorter development and validation and testing cycles

Steve Heath, Medidata’s VP of channel sales, said, “Theorem shares our vision of bringing the voice of the patient into clinical research and positively transforming the clinical trial experience for all study participants. This accreditation reinforces Theorem’s commitment to leveraging innovative technology to accelerate the delivery of medicine to patients around the world.”

Theorem holds the most number of accreditations from Medidata Services Partners. These include Medidata Rave, through which the company has built hundreds of clinical studies, Medidata Rave Safety Gateway, Medidata Rave Targeted SDV, and Medidate Balance Randomization.
