Thermo Fisher's Florence Site On Track For Commercial Spray Drying Services

Formulation challenges for enhancing the bioavailability of poorly soluble API’s can be solved by spray drying.

Thermo Fisher’s Pharma Services is on track to complete the build of the commercial spray drying facility at the Florence (East), South Carolina site.

The mid-scale Anhydro MS-400 equipment will be operational mid July 2019 with the larger scale MS-1250 following in August 2019. This compliments the development spray drying capabilities at the Bend, OR site providing spray drying services from Pre-Clinical, through Phase I, II & III and commercialization.
