Unexpectedly Adopting Mobile Clinical Services At The Start of COVID

The pharma/biotech industry has traditionally been very slow at adopting technology. A 2022 survey done by the ACRP says that less than one-half of sites report currently running trials that use decentralized clinical trial (DCT) components or services and sites rarely use remote technologies that could support patient convenience. In this segment, Dr. Oscar Segurado, the CMO at ASC Therapeutics, talks about how his company was faced with adopting some DCT components just as the pandemic hit.
