Selecting the right technology and partner is crucial, whether you're choosing a vendor for a single clinical trial, a program of trials, or establishing a long-term partnership. Your technology should evolve with your business, and your partner should be dedicated to your success.
Currently, the RTSM (Randomization and Trial Supply Management) software market is still developing. Unlike mature markets where customers prioritize costs over benefits, today's focus in the RTSM sector remains on the quality of service provided by software vendors, resulting in varying benefits. Consolidation hasn't yet occurred, and systems and capabilities have not reached a stage of being seen as commodities. In a mature market, we would anticipate a shift from customized services to more configurable platforms driven by technology, rather than services, to ensure customer success.
Given this landscape, it's crucial for customers to make informed decisions about their partnerships, whether they're tactical choices for immediate trials or strategic considerations for future endeavors.
