The recent Clinical Trials Site Personnel Webinar, co-hosted by the LUNGevity Foundation and the Oncology Nursing Society, highlighted the importance of reducing financial barriers to clinical trial participation and advancing the Equitable Access to Clinical Trials (EACT) initiative. The webinar facilitated a valuable dialogue across stakeholders, including nurses, sponsors, and patient advocacy organizations, focusing on how financial neutrality can foster inclusivity in clinical research. By covering costs such as travel and caregiving, EACT ensures that participants from diverse backgrounds are not deterred by financial constraints.

Scout's commitment to this cause is evident in our advocacy for financial neutrality, as well as in our support services that address logistical challenges. Through partnerships and ongoing collaboration, we aim to eliminate these barriers and enhance diversity within clinical trials, ultimately enriching the data and treatments derived from such research. Read more about how collaboration among clinical research stakeholders is breaking financial barriers to support equitable trial access.
