Decentralized clinical trials (DCTs) are a fast-growing resource for sponsors to increase patient recruitment and retention. They take trials out of the clinic and into the community, making them more accessible to patients and increasing the amount and diversity of patient data. However, common myths about decentralized trials prevent sponsors from fully utilizing their advantages. Dispelling these myths is a crucial first step in successfully implementing DCTs.
