Flexible, Global Delivery For Alzheimer's Patients
MRN has been collaborating with and providing clinical services to individuals enrolled in international clinical trials through the St. Louis-based Washington University School of Medicine for nearly a decade. These trials aim to determine if investigational drugs can slow down or prevent a rare type of Alzheimer's disease in patients genetically predisposed to develop the illness at a young age.
During these studies, Washington University leads the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer's Network Trials Unit (DIAN-TU) trials, while MRN provides support to participants in the United Kingdom, in addition to other locations throughout Europe and Australia, through its Home Trial Support, which provides care to patients in their own home.
Read the full case study to learn how the MRN team has been able to take charge of overseeing clinical trial nurses and participants and work with Washington University to deliver clinical services to over 100 participants worldwide.
