Late last fall, the VA National Association of Veterans’ Research and Education Foundation (NAVREF) celebrated its 30th Annual Conference in Pentagon City, Virginia. In the many years since the foundation’s creation, members have made landmark discoveries and inspired innovative practices for veterans participating in clinical research.

The latest NAVREF conference took place from Sept. 11-14, 2022. There, Greenphire was invited to participate as part of an ongoing clinical research partnership with NAVREF. One of the notable highlights from the conference was the introduction of the new NAVREF CEO, Marlon Ferguson. AS part of the ongoing events and the widespread use of Greenphire’s Clincard at NAVREF non-profit research corporations (NPCs) locations, Senior Solutions Specialist, Medical Centers and University Accounts Joe Gough took time to interview Ferguson about the importance of veteran participation in clinical trials.

Gain insight into the future of veteran care based on years of innovative research and education in this recounting of their interview.
