Scout has officially joined the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi, committing to both near-term and net-zero emissions reductions. For our partners and stakeholders, it is important to understand that this "approved commitment" is a formal pledge of intent and accountability—the first stage in a rigorous, data-driven journey. The process is intentionally structured to ensure credibility. Currently, Scout is moving from commitment to target validation.

Being transparent about these distinctions avoids "greenwashing" and ensures Scout's climate claims are grounded in science. You can track real-time progress on the SBTi Target Dashboard. Scout is committed to doing the hard work of measurement and compliance to turn this intent into a measurable impact.
